Apollo Burgers - Maywood

I visited Apollo since the opening around 1967. Great food. The most important is the personalized service we have always received. Thank you, Laura. She's the greatest.

The food is good, but I think they have different chefs because the taste of the burgers varies quite a bit. The pastrami is generally good, but there was one time when my pastrami was overcooked and lacked flavor. It seemed like the chef had deep-fried it, and it was mostly fatty. However, that was just that one experience. Overall, I think they're good, so I would give them a personal rating of 4 stars.

I had a great experience at this restaurant. The burger was cooked just how I wanted it, and the fries ended up being larger than I anticipated—I felt like I ate four whole potatoes! The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, which I really appreciated. I would definitely visit again.

Today was my first visit to this restaurant. It’s a bit of a hidden gem, and I probably wouldn't have noticed it if it weren't a holiday. Since it was open, we decided to stop by. I ordered the steak sandwich and the avocado burger, and both were delicious. The fries were fresh and crispy too. I definitely recommend stopping by for a great burger. The drive-thru service was impressively fast, and everything was made to order.
