Luz Del Sol - Mazunte

This is a review of 2 experiences here. 1st time was fine. Waited a while for my juice, but it's alright. In fact, 4.5 star if I had written the review then. 2nd time was a radically different experience. 4 of us ordered (3) juices and (1) breakfast bowl. Good company made the time go by easefully, but we couldn't help me realise waiting for the drinks and food took well over an hour. The edibles are solid, 5 stars for that. The atmosphere is nice, however tainted by being on the side of the main street with heaps of street noise (not their fault, but by design it's indeed faulted), so 4 stars. Now the service and their cheeky 10% charge is where I knocked points off. In their menu is a short statement that cuentas more than 100 pesos are subject to a 10% OPTIONAL tip. When we got our check (remember, after 1 hour of waiting), the 10% tip was tacked on WITHOUT the mentioning that it's optional. It feels like a deceitful business practice. When I double checked the menu and asked one of the servers, she confirmed that the charge is indeed optional, and she crossed it out when giving us change.

Great vegetarian food! I ordered Veggie Burger with Blackbean and mushrooms and it was wonderful. Full taste. The mushroom taste came through. Additional homemade French fries were delicious. Crispy. Homemade mustard and chili tomato sauce. Fresh salad on the side with sprouts. I loved every bite. Friendly service!

Las comidas son deliciosas, recomiendo mucho las hamburguesas de lenteja con papas. El servicio es amigable y aceptan pagos con tarjeta o en efectivo.

Vegan burrito is bomb. Good place to eat if you’re a couple with a vegan and a keto.
