Gabriel was so helpful and patient in explaining not only the pies, but the beverages, too. He was so excited for us to try the drinks-one of us doesn't like coffee-that we BOTH got coffee drinks and BOTH really enjoyed it! Can't wait to try the pies we bought. This was our first time coming to the new location. For the longest time we sadly thought they had gone out of business. We were driving by and saw the sign! Happy tummies! Definitely will be back!
Pies are just o-kay.The service was very nice. They were very accommodating and attentive. Our group ordered savory pies for lunch and finished off with a few slices of dessert pies. The consensus was that they weren't very good.I just can't seem to put my finger on what exactly was lacking. Honestly, it all was very bland. I've had much better pies both from the grocery store and homemade. We were a bit disappointed to find out that they weren't serving their shepard pies until 1-2pm : . We even called ahead to make sure they would be ready made.On the other hand their bacon avocado lettuce tomato sandwich was very good. Lots of meaty well cooked bacon, yum! I would recommend to the kitchen adding a pinch of salt and fresh ground pepper on the tomato when assembling your sandwiches. Believe me, it makes a world of a difference. :)I really enjoyed their tomato soup. It was flavorful and I loved the slightly chucky pureed texture. This is very much a novelty restaurant. A shame their specialties aren't better.
My last Pay!! . PJPies It's excellent, but $33.28 for a 10 Blueberry pie? $4.98 for a latte plus taxes, total $41.42. And the service and the place for that price? uppp is ok
Second time visiting, first time was better. Entered building and lights were off already, they had an hour still till closing. Pie was ok, honestly HEB pie is better and soft. I don't know, something is missing, just not sure what.
