Bidra med feedbackWe affectionately refer to Bartle Lodge as Aunt Linda Square because of the warm, family-like atmosphere of the restaurant. Be sure to try the potato pancakes—they're reminiscent of her cooking!
I had an excellent experience with both breakfast and lunch here. I'm even willing to travel 20 miles out of my way for dinner! The chef really knows what they're doing. Plus, the battle mascot, Rufus, does a fantastic job as both bartender and waitress. The food is delicious, and the portions are generous for the price. In my opinion, this place is the best in Siskiyou Land!
A must-visit spot for breakfast or brunch when passing through! They serve large potato pancakes and delicious coffee. The atmosphere is friendly, reflecting the laid-back vibe of the area. The cell service can be a bit spotty, but that adds to the charm of enjoying a rustic brunch!
I left Mt. Shasta on the way to Lake Tahoe and came over this jewel! I've never had potato pancakes, but I'm so glad I tried them here! They were delicious and the service was in place!
Can’t say enuf good words about the lodge or the very nice owner, Linda. Food was high quality, fresh, and perfectly prepared. Price was fair. Service prompt and friendly. The cafe was clean and homey. The bar looked like a cool place to hang out for a lazy afternoon. Will we go back? Oh yeah!
