The staff were friendly and the food was typical for a rural brewery restaurant - nothing special but decent enough. However, the standout disappointment was the beer. The only somewhat enjoyable option was the Belgian wit, and even that was only barely tolerable. The rest of the beers were so bad that we couldn't believe it wasn't a prank. We initially tried a pitcher of the pale ale and the smell alone was off-putting, with the taste being even worse. Hoping for better options, we ordered a flight of tasters, but to our dismay, only one was marginally better... the others were much worse. Perhaps it's just our personal preferences (as we are all beer drinkers), but we will not be returning to this establishment for the beer. If you prefer high-quality beers from breweries like Fall River Brewing (or any other reputable brewery), then Siskiyou is not the place for you.
None of the three of us enjoyed the beer at all. We felt the Porter and the IPA both had bitter aftertastes. Did not try the food. Had a dog so we had to sit in the beer garden where the menu for the beers was literally Porter, IPA, Pale Ale and lager. No names of anything nor descriptions. The lady said I could have a Prankster yet couldn’t tell me anything about it. The website was great and informative but they didn’t have much of those beers available. Definitely didn’t feel welcome.
Pat brews the best beer in Siskiyou county! I live in Callahan so it's a bit of a journey but SOOOO worth it. The pale ale is to die for
I wish I could give a good review because the place looks looks friendly and the menu is witty. Maybe if I had several beers first, the pizza might have been better. Sadly, even a group of six hungry, hard-working construction crew couldn't choke down much of the pizza we got on Thursday night. Most of it is still left over. Dough is like soggy cardboard, undercooked ,no flavor and pasty. Sauce seems like they literally just opened a can of tomato paste. Sorry, it was just so bad I had to post.
During a spontaneous road trip with no set plans, we stumbled upon this hidden gem located in front of an RV Park where we spent the night. We decided to walk from our campsite and were immediately drawn to the large old dairy barn at the entrance. Situated conveniently across the street from where we were refueling our vehicle, we opted for beer and pizza. The seating inside was limited, but we enjoyed our meal under the umbrella-covered tables outside. While the atmosphere was nothing fancy, the pizza was exceptional. Just be prepared for a longer wait if it's busy, but you can always enjoy a beer while you wait. Embrace the slower pace and don't overlook this spot on your journey.
