Delicious! They serve fantastic Chicago-style Vienna beef hot dogs at reasonable prices. We ordered two hot dog combos that came with fries and a soda, and we added two cups of cheese sauce. The total was just $12. I highly recommend this place!

Without a doubt, the BEST gyros, gyro plates, and tzatziki sauce you'll find anywhere! Pete does an incredible job in the kitchen. I've been visiting Alex's since I was a little kid when they first opened in the 80s, and I'll always remain a loyal customer. Thank you all for the delicious food!

Was looking for a good gyro experience and today I found one. I could tell when I walked through the door that I was in the right place. 2 gyro rotisseries going and all brown and crunchy. The staff was older friendly guys who had been doing this fora long time. I asked the guy at the counter whats the best thing they had in the place and he immediately said The Gyro Plate. So when in Rome... We ordered and he told us to have a seat and in a moment our food was ready. A surprisingly large amount offood. The pita bread was soft and flavorful, the meat was not too salty or too garlicky or too greasy and the veggies werefresh. I liked that the meat was browned by the IR rotisserie and not fried up on the griddle. The parsley on the onions wasrefreshing as well. Large basket of fries that tasted like clean oil and potatoes. The tzatziki sauce was unique. Never hadone like it. Yogurt based but, really different in a good way. The inside of the place was clean and smelled okay. And oh,they have their own home made giardiniera. Didn't try it yet but, I'll be back for something that requires a little of that onit.
