Bidra med feedbackCool place that was converted from a movie theatre to a bar/brewery. Place let's you bring in food. Outside tables that are great to sit out on beautiful Pittsburgh nights.
Best place ever. I went to see the horror film fest. The best bad movies ever!!!!!! Owners are great and so is the food. The crowd is very eclectic and nice to be around.
I've been here before, but it was a few years ago, and this week I visited again, for an entertainment industry mixer, and WOW, this place has been completely remodeled, and is very, very, nice inside. There is a bar, stage, and theater on the right side, and a micro-brewery, Abjuration Brewing, on the left. Very classy, and comfortable inside, and they support the local arts and entertainment industry by providing space for events, AND, they show movies too, and I think live music also, since there was a drum kit set up. The night I was there, they also had some local comedians performing in the theater ... very cool ... Cheers!
This restaurant is fantastic! They feature live jazz bands, a movie theater, a brewery, irresistible popcorn, and a huge screen for watching penguin games. I've visited several times, and each experience has been wonderful. The service is excellent, and the staff is very friendly. Mckees Rocks is an amazing place to check out—there's a flautist, the penguins, a brewery, and the potential cult classic film, Zeroville. I absolutely love it!
This place is amazing! If I didn't live on the other side of the city, I would definitely be here every weekend. The owner, Aaron, is a genuinely nice guy. It was fascinating to hear him talk about his commitment to the community and his efforts to revitalize the theater, which he has done successfully. The space is ample, creating an atmosphere where you can easily spend an hour or two enjoying good company. One side features a bar, while the opposite side houses a brewery, both offering great drink prices. In the middle, there's a lounge where we enjoyed an open mic night, and at the very back, there's a fully-equipped theater that showcases independent films from Pittsburgh and nearby areas. The vibe is friendly and laid-back, with plenty to do. It's truly one of those hidden gems in Pittsburgh that makes the city such a wonderful place to live and enjoy.
