Christy Park Cones - McKeesport

I had the most disappointing strawberry shortcake experience at this restaurant. For $4.50, I received a piece that was incredibly small – no thicker than 3/4 of an inch – and it was rock hard. It seemed like it had either been left out or was previously frozen. The texture was off-putting, and overall, it was quite unpleasant. The strawberries were served in a sauce, which made it feel more like an overpriced sundae rather than a proper dessert. My family loves exploring local ice cream shops, but I won't be returning here. Please use fresh strawberries and authentic shortcake, even if it means increasing the price. That's what I expect from a dessert.

This is a fantastic place for soft serve ice cream! The small cone is quite a generous size, so if you're looking for a smaller portion, I recommend ordering a kids cone.
