Bidra med feedbackMy family and I have been coming to Indian Kitchen since it’s opened and it’s safe to say— it’s my favorite restaurant in Mckinney! Now we’d never tried Indian food before, but I can tell you that this place is absolutely delicious and an amazing introduction to the world of Indian cuisine. Our favorite dishes include the butter chicken, chef’s chicken curry, dal tadka, and bombay chicken biryani. I adore the raita and garlic naan for sides as well. Out of this world flavor, freshness, quality, perfect portions and just the right amount of spice. Every time we come in, we’re greeted by the owner who is simply the sweetest man, prepared to make sure you have the best experience. You can tell he takes great pride in his business. His wife is the chef and she is simply amazing at what she does. It’s always spotless. The wall art is very beautiful! They’re always making improvements to the set up. Recently, they updated the menu to include helpful descriptions as well as vegan/allergen labels. Please be patient as it is a small family business and there’s usually only 2 people serving, but trust me it is worth a little wait! One of the best treats here that we’ve experienced was coming in on Mother’s Day to an exceptional tray of delights. It included a sampling of different more “home style” foods as the owner explained. Simply outstanding! I can’t wait until they bring it back. I implore you to support this amazing establishment, you’ll probably see us there!
First time eating there yesterday. I ordered Chloe batura and the dish was very tasty and flavorful. Finally I have found a good North Indian restaurant.
I’m a huge Indian food lover this was one of the best I’ve ever had in DFW.The service was great and the staff were very attentive, fast and nice.As for the food, wow! Super delicious. We got the samosas, and they were cooked to perfection. We also got the biryani and butter chicken with rice naan. All of it was just DELICIOUS with a massive portion lots of meat.I highly recommend! Will definitely come again.
My GF and I have struggled mightily to find an Indian restaurant that we like, which is strange given how plentiful they are in Dallas. The food here was excellent (finallly! and the service was extremely friendly. The chef is the owner and the husband her manager. We will drive the 45 min. from Oak Cliff to eat dinner here.
Visited for the first time recently. Service was attentive and helpful, especially in guiding me to menu items I'd most enjoy. Tried the Chicken Tikka Masala and I found it to be really flavorful and spiced perfectly to my palate. Just slightly spicy without overpower the underlying delicate flavors. Portion was ample and I was really happy to have enough sauce for the rice and naan. Though arguably not traditional I tried the cheese garlic naan and really enjoyed that too. Small family business it seems, I passed my compliments along to the owner and everyone was really welcoming and friendly.
