Morning Thunder - McMinnville

Great food! Nice atmosphere! The chicken steak was GIANT! We're leaving.

Sadly the owner of the restaurant died unexpectedly and they have been temporarily closed. I will come back to show my support once they reopen. I’m so sorry for your loss, best wishes for your family during this difficult times Was pretty excited to try a breakfast place in Mcminville on a Friday morning. I don’t know what was going on in this town but lots of the restaurants we tried to eat at were closed. This was our first choice as the reviews and pictures looked great. It was a little hidden and easy to miss as it’s with in the building. We were so disappointed to find the place closed. It looks like a nice place to eat so maybe we’ll give it a try another time.

Wonderful place with a fun and funky atmosphere. Stopped in for breakfast, I was craving sweet and savory and they delivered!

If patience isn't your virtue, go to McDonald's. This seems to be a popular weekend breakfast spot and service can seem slow but it's really not. Pros: Staff were really busy but friendly and engaging. Basic Breakfast/homemade toasted bread and Benedict light, lemony, creamy hollandaise) were good and we'd order it again. Cons: Plates were cool so our breakfast wasn't hot when it arrived.

My favorite breakfast spot in McMinnville! The food is fantastic, especially the avocado toast! The staff is incredibly friendly. Just a heads-up, Morning Thunder is only open for a few days each week. On the other days, there's another restaurant called Hawaii 530, but I wasn't impressed by their food or service. Definitely make sure to visit Morning Thunder—it's well worth it!
