Bidra med feedbackThis new hostel situated in the heart of the party area of medellin is an absolute hidden gem! Located next to the over hyped happy boudha this hostel is perfect for anyone looking for an intimate family feel. The party is strong if you want but the rooms dont get the music so a good night sleep is guaranteed if thats what you are after. Always felt looked after and safe in the area. Surrounded by good bars and food this hostel is a must for an authentic medellin feel. Run by two colombians who are some of the friendliest people i have met on my travels and always willing to lend a hand or some information. Dont miss out on a great experience couldnt recommend it highly enough!
We stayed here just one night but it was very good. We had no reservation but got beds without a problem. Everything is clean, the staff are super friendly, breakfast (coffee, toast, scrambled eggs and fruit salat) is included and the hostal is perfectly located for night life tourists. The last aspect is at the same time a weakness if you like it more silent during night time. For us it was not a big deal and we enjoyed our time there.
The stuff are so kind , allways asking and chacking that all good.. allways here for everything you need. The hostel is actually brand new!!!! The rooms are clean there is places to seat outside and inaide. Good place to make some friends. the best shower i have ever had.... Seriacly better than home. It is shower+ sauna !!!! I felt so spoild. The location is great.. Next to the partys and the restaurants.
This was one of my favourite restaurants in Colombia. Even though it's new the attention to detail, service and above all the standard of food was fantastic. The wonderful chef came out to check on our meals and asked for any changes we would have (none as it turned out) but that shows the standard of service. We ate here two nights in a row. Thank you to the staff and chef for two wonderful evenings.
2 English girls staying in dorm room of 8. We ended up staying at 35th station as Happy Buddha were full and recommended it. The rooms were obscenely small - we chose to stay in the 8 bed instead of 6 bed because at least there was room to stand up next to your bed. The bathrooms were small. The beds were terrible. It didn't feel like a mattress was put down just planks of wood. Gave a very bad back in the morning so we decided to leave after 1 night to GeoHostel which was great and cheaper!!! Upsides: the guy at reception/bar was very nice and helpful! The kitchen was also clean and a good size. There is a free breakfast.
