Bidra med feedback2 stars because the server was good. Let the review because the food was lousy and overpriced, $10 for a bowl watered down shell soup, and another $12 for seafood stuffed mushrooms that tasted like turkey plugs. The soup (going too thin to be called Chowder) was so bad, even the sever noticed and asked the manager Dave to take it out of the bill as it was eaten, and was watered and he refused. I remember why it's been years since I was eating in a Red Lobster and why it's gonna take years before I come back. Too many local tasty restaurants for the same price, the consistently good food and have local owners who 't hesitate to take something out of the bill If they have served something that was not right, I will spend my money in these places.
The food wasn't great. I had to send my steak back, medium rarely is not brown. The replacement was made very good on one side, raw on the other side. Absolutely not worth the $80 for two people without drinks
These people need help here. My poor waitress ran to the point where she couldn't breathe and couldn't let my cup go empty. These women were really asking women... I wanted to help her. The food was hot and really good if I gave her a $100 tip. Just that she does something for herself.
I wouldn't give stars if that was an option. Dave, the manager at the service was a big disappointment. I have never found a more rude non-helpful person in all my years as he is. The restaurant was very slow as it was usually the last half dozen times I had been there. I had a simple request and had even asked for reservations. On arrival we were told that they could not sit together. Really? That's why we asked for the reservations because it was my daughters. There were several places that were the dinning room that would have been great to sit and zero reason why we couldn't sit there, but he said rudely no. No! Not any reason I said differently, then the section was clean and he didn't want to sit there. Remember, the tables were right next to other tables with customers in them. A big table in the corner that would have been perfect that he claimed was closed, but now people sit there. So down line DAVE does not have to be such a DAVE and maybe explore another line of work because it is missing in the customer service department.
It was crowded, with a wait of 10 to 15 minutes or we could eat in the bar at a bistro table for two. We decided to try the bar. It was surprisingly quieter than expected and the service was great. I ordered the Coconut Shrimp (my favorite), with Mashed Potatoes and a Caesar Salad with extra dressing on the side. My husband ordered the Admirals Feast with Caesars Salad and Broccoli. We also got the Cheddar biscuits, and as usual, they were wonderful. My husband had a glass of white wine and I had a soft drink. Both of our meals were great. My shrimp came with a delicious Mai Tai sauce for the shrimp. My husband enjoyed the fish, scallops, shrimp, etc with tarter and cocktail sauce. It actually was quite comfortable in the bar with no other diners. We both have pretty small appetites since we are seniors, so we had a lot of food packed up to go. They even threw in some extra biscuits and extra sauces for the seafood. Our waitress was very attentive and nice and we tipped accordingly.
