Texas Roadhouse - Medford

The food here is consistently delicious, with generous portion sizes and a diverse menu that caters to a variety of tastes. What truly distinguishes this restaurant from others is its exceptional staff. I have dined at the Medford location multiple times, and I am consistently impressed by the professionalism and positive attitude of the servers, hosts, and management. Every team member is dedicated to delivering quality service to all guests, whether in the dining area or the bar. My experiences have always been outstanding, and I make sure to share this feedback with the manager on duty. As a customer experience trainer, I find the genuine enthusiasm and welcoming atmosphere created by the employees to be remarkable, which is why this has become one of our favorite dining spots in Medford. Keep up the great work!

My dad and I visited this place as it's been a while since we've been here. We were greeted warmly and was told the wait time as it was busy. We decided to eat at the bar. Marriah was there with one customer and was nice and holidayish calling the bar Whoville. The bread was Uber fresh and warm. We had the salmon and catfish with baked potatoes, broccoli, cesar salads and their signature Catfish. WOW... everything was so fresh, delectable and mouth watering. They make their own croutons for their ceasar salad. We have been talking about this 5 star dining experience since we were there last Thursday. To top it off, management even came around to ask us how we are even with the place being packed. This is a must to come eat their taylored menu and a group of people making you feel super special!!

First time using the waitlist on the app. I arrived to find the parking lot full. After texting HERE , I entered and was shocked to see the waiting area full. I walked up to the counter and asked if I was on the list. I was. Once seated, I ordered a martini. Since I had the offer of a 16 ounce filet mignon while visiting the Wichita restaurant, I asked about it here. Jade, a server who has been with the restaurant since they opened 13 years ago, said Yes, but let me check. When the steak came out it took up half the plate. It was the strangest filet I 'd ever seen. Turns out they butterflied it because it was so tall. The food was as awesome as ever and Jade was super sweet. I 've never had a server plop down on the other side of the booth to take my order, but when she did that a couple things happened first, it seemed super friendly. So that was a welcome surprise. Second, I could hear her really well. Which was great because it is usually so loud in the Texas Roadhouse restaurants that I struggle to hear the server. Jade came back and sat again to ask how my meal was and make conversation. Which is how I learned she was there since the opening. The first TR I visited was in Phoenix. Then Grants Pass (x2), then Wichita, Reno and now here. The food is consistently good and the servers are always friendly. Find one near you and enjoy.

I ordered a well-done steak, specifically mentioning that I'm pregnant and cannot have any pink meat. However, when I got home and cut into it, I found it to be medium rare. This is the second time this has occurred, which makes me question whether the cooks know how to properly prepare a steak. I won't be ordering from here again; it's obvious that my expectations for a steakhouse are too high.

The restaurant was bustling and seemed to be the popular spot in Medford on a Friday night. I placed an order for some pork chops and ribs for takeout. When I arrived, the food wasn't quite ready, but after a short wait, I finally got my order. The pork chops were decent but lacked seasoning and were slightly overcooked. Unfortunately, the ribs were quite dry and fully overcooked. The highlight of the meal was the bread, which was really enjoyable. Even the corn and mushrooms outshone the meat. Perhaps the peanuts I plan to try someday will be better as well. Maybe it was just an off night for them. I might give another Texas Roadhouse a shot on my travels in the future.
