Red Rooster Sandwich Shop - Meeker

I ordered my favorite today, the loaded club. While I waited for my order, I watched the man behind the counter making a sandwich with so much attention to detail that I was genuinely surprised. Then it was discovered that there was a miscommunication over the bread I asked for, and the sandwich the man was making was actually mine. He quickly offered to remake it on the right bread, but I told him that it was clear he put a lot of love into that order and I wouldn’t dare ask him to remake it. It was a photo-quality creation and equally delicious. I’ve never seen someone put so much care into what they were making. It was wonderful and I can’t recommend this place enough. I just hope you’re as lucky as me to have him make your sandwich. You won’t be disappointed.

Lived here for 1.5 years and I regret not trying this place sooner! The sandwich was amazing and they are so friendly and caring. 100% recommend this cute little place!

On the way to hunt elk and bear, we stopped in Meeker, Colorado to pick up a hunting license and something to eat. For us, the hidden gem in this town was the Red Rooster Sandwich Shop with its original ceiling and floors provided the right atmosphere which was laid back...which was perfect after an all-day flight. We ordered a BLT sandwich and a Cobb Salad. The sandwich and salad were excellent as were the friendly staff that waited on us. Thanks to everyone for making our pit-stop worthwhile!

I have lived in Meeker for less than a year and cannot kick myself enough for not trying Red Rooster sooner! Now, I myself, am a great cook, sandwich maker, all of it. But let me tell you. After trying their sandwiches, it makes me never want to make my own again! I was singing while eating. Simply amazing. Definitely my favorite lunch spot now! GO GET SOME!

What a lovely little sandwich shop nestled right in with an old timey soda fountain coffee shop. The staff were so helpful and incredibly friendly. The sandwich was delicious and I plan to stop in here for every trip I make to this adorable town. The only thing that could've made it any better was some 50's rock and roll playing. I'm in love!
