La Taverna - Meersburg

From the larger than expected pizza dough tomato and garlic starter, the excellent, inexpensive wein, delicious main dishes and great desserts everything was top-class. large service and environment ensured a very relaxed, pleasant evening.

Visited next season so early closing. good value pizza and friendly family service. outdoors in the evening, but in the season you have to use the parking lot. served drinks.

We have been in meersburg for a few years, and we have used this restaurant some paints, and the use of foods to be good quality Italian, but it is on the hill that eating is terrible. it took forever two pizzas and in the meantime we saw other tables that send back their pasta. when they tried to get the bill at the end, the waitress was more interested in taking care of their nails, then actually looking for the customers

Not with other alternatives for dinner, as the city is very small and all other restaurants were close, we had to eat in la taverna. eating is not so bad, but the service is a catastrophe. there was a dog in the...restaurant as big as a pony; to get the bottle to see where the wein comes an act and then the owner said that they do not accept credit cards as they do not want to pay the credit card fees and we have to go to the next atm to pay money from the credit card and pay in cash. not expected this type of service in a city that lives completely from tourism, but looks like a monopolist pampered some of the restaurant owners. disappointing.

This review is for La Taverna restaurant at the Hotel Iris. We received very poor customer treatment. We were overcharged for drinks we did not order. When we refused to pay the staff threatened to hit me, tried to take my wife's purse and pushed...us around. Waiter was very impatient when we were trying to place our order. Would stay away from this place.
