Bidra med feedbackI love it that it is always the same personal and welcomes it through the doors. on a sunny day, the perfect place and on a day like today, so cozy inside!
We just love it here. the location is idyllic when the sun seems. this time I went here from the top of the chamois cable car (dodgy knie didn't mean ski this year). a very nice walk (as they know how I met. to the rest of the family running down. came here twice during our week holiday. the chicken soup is my favorite meal. we come back every year.
I love it here. we were several times about the new year and star. we snowshoes and there are wonderful walks near. my daughters tell me there is a good ski run. they are always smiling and friendly. I like the variety of food salads and hot eating including a Korean influx with noodles. I like the rose on the glass. If its sunny and warm enough, then they sit outside in the sun on their large terrace with view, otherwise invite inside with the big log fire. make sure they book when they come in high season and do not book the terrace for lunch when the outside temperatures are minus 10 and above, even if the sunny, as there are no heated lamps
There are many restaurants on the ski slopes of megeve, which are very average and very expensive. that's a real take. the location is fantastic; at the lower end of a beautiful blue run so very accessible for all flat skiers (including my 9...yr old). on a beautiful day, they sit outside and enjoy the beautiful view and the sunfall. we went here 3 days in succession because the service and eating were excellent. the prices are very good. I can highly recommend the chicken soup €18 (delict broth with chicken stable, noodles and veg loaded). the lamb shank is cooked for the perfection 19 €. we also had steak and chips (can not remember the price but all very reasonable). my youngest loved the chicken bugs and pasta! the menu is all in French, but with their help we could find out what was in the offer. they also have all traditional cheese dishes. on a bad weather day we ate inside beside a glorious, open fire. book them in advance as it is very busy (especially with the locals can not recommend better than that! we will come back there next year.
We dined at lunch on a snowy day skiing in Megeve. We had a reservation, but this restaurant is a little off the beaten track at the base of Petite Fontaine chair lift, not as crowded as the other restaurants on the mountain at Megeve....Food was delicious, recommend the veal and the sausage dishes. Very good house red and white wine. The owner and the servers were all very friendly and delivered a great dining experience.
