Hörning`s Hof - Meinersen

Nice place, eating was great. Visit it again. Food was also exotic and really interesting. Service was very friendly and nice. It wasn't really expensive either.

Family festival with about 30 guests with lunch, coffee and cake. The preliminary soup was tasteless and barely enjoyable, at the main course the turkey roast was dead several times. The vegetables were completely boiled. The scavenger and the beef fillet tasted well, even the dessert was o.k. However, we had to wait for the individual courses until the dessert was served only at 14.30. On the bottom, the restaurant is not recommended for such occasions.

A very nice cozy restaurant with a very tasty food and a very friendly staff. We felt very comfortable and have nothing to complain about. Thank you: for the nice time and will come back!

For months I have been looking forward to the bike tour of Wolfenbüttel to Hörnings Hof due to the good reviews. My question whether I could get the fitness salad plate instead of using turkey strips also with beef strips was in the words, it is not on the menu, negated by the owner. Hmmm. So first a spring soup. She was just lukewarm. I ate them anyway. Stomach-friendly. Now I was asked if I was satisfied. I dared to say that the soup was only lukewarm. The owner came back to the table he personally convinced that the soup had left the kitchen with 80 degrees. And there's no explanation that she just arrived at me lukewarm. And now the cook would be more than evil with him. Did he want to tell me that...???? No word of excuse, nothing. I'm still more than speechless...
