Continental Flambe - Melbourne

The food and service at this restaurant were excellent. I particularly enjoyed the fixed price menu.

The food was very good, and portions large. Had enough to take home for the next day! Although it was Sat. Night, the restaurant was half empty. The singer and guitarist were also good.

The food was amazing and the overall experience was very good, but the service felt a bit rushed. We were still enjoying our drinks when they started serving the food, and the next course arrived before we had finished the first. Although there were candles on the table, they were not lit. Despite these minor issues, we would still recommend this restaurant.

Food was delicious. Server was friendly and efficient with the hand she was dealt. Beverages were kept filled. Singer and accompanist provided nice, soft background music, which we enjoyed very much. Only snag was slow output from the kitchen. Our meals, appetizers through dessert, took almost 3 hours. Step it up, Continental Flambe chefs, everything else was up to snuff.

We were heart broken when they closed a few years ago. It was always a favorite place of ours. Since the resent reopening, we have been there twice and we will return often.
