Ember Oak - Melbourne

The food had potential but was mostly cold. The risotto was ice cold, and our add-on grilled shrimp took so long to come out that we were waiting for the check and the shrimp. Then when the shrimp finally came out, it was cold. The staff was nice and did reduce the bill (we did not ask for this) but the kitchen was slow

We had a fantastic meal! The presentation and flavors were absolutely delicious. We enjoy celebrating at Ember and Oak.

Decent restaurant nice vibe and very polite service. Food was reasonable 'fine dining ' but not as good as 'Scotts on Fifth, ' was surprised their steak wasn 't better, but all around pretty good.

I really appreciated the champagne birthday toast! A very nice touch. The menu was fresh and original, the food was flavorful and fresh. Was a little underwhelmed by the “by the glass” wine list- very few imports, mostly highly recognizable CA wines. We completely enjoyed our evening, though.

Great for special occasions! The ambiance is great especially when they have live music!
