Atticus Finch - Melbourne

The first time I chose this bar it was for the name - I returned because it is excellent. The bar manager is friendly and helpful, the drink selection is vast and the decor is cool. The perfect place to go before or after dinner in Brunswick East.

Stopped in with Manfriend after dinner for a few quiet drinks with a friend. Atmosphere is great, we grabbed our drinks from a very charming, cravat-wearing gent (I think he may be the owner). Drinks and Service were top notch, and a sweet little pool room out the back behind the courtyard. A local gem that I hope doesn't lose its charm as it gets more popular.

Great atmosphere, very friendly, fast service and personal tastes accounted for... so great as a local venue for a relaxed night out.

This has been my go to lately! There is a great drinks menu, they have plenty of booth seating, the bar staff are really friendly - one guy in particular I have fun with every time I get served! They have a DJ on Friday night and it doesn't get ridiculously packed out!I was really impressed when we could smell delicious food and to my surprise when I asked what time it was served to they said 1am! Nothing better than a fantastic midnight cheese platter!

They open late in the afternoon (around 4 I think), when we were there it was very quite, I am sure things pick up the the evening! Only had a beer and sit at the window watching people go by which was enjoyable for the afternoon.
