Bo De Trai Vegetarian Restaurant

An absolute favourite of our family.A small unassuming place with the most delicious vegan food ever.

Being a local vegetarian, there is little to choose from for an entirely vegetarian Asian meal in the Footscray area.It isn't one of my favourites, but the food is ok. It certainly isn't worth the trip if you're coming from the other side of town. The menu is quite limited. If you're local, then by all means try it.

Just want to echo the other positive review - Bo De Trai is great - for example, around $10 gets you a bowl of steaming hot noodles, in a tasty veg soup with some extras like fresh chill (which is lethally hot), and bean shoots. Depending what you order there will also be some tofu or fake meat style treats. They also have some rice based mains which I'm looking forward to trying. Be aware that staff may not speak much English, and the atmosphere consists of florescent lighting with green walls. Don't let this stop you from enjoying their tasty food next time you are in Footscray.
