Mavis The Grocer - Melbourne

After traversing the cold streets of London, my sister and I were exhausted and very hungryDuring our travels, we happened upon Lupita.

I love Mexican food and I wanted to try Lupita long time ago.

I have been to Mavis a few times over the last year and sometimes I agree with the other comments made, but the last couple of months it's been great. There is an express lunch menu and the menu seems to change from week to week which is good.

I live VERY close by Mavis the Grocer. We waited patiently while the undertook the world's slowest renovation before opening. We arrived! We had a lovely meal, the first time. Since then, I have tried MULTIPLE TIMES to frequent this conveniently located cafe, but the staff simply IGNORE ME. Like, flat out, pretend I don't exist, and serve people either side of me, but don't even acknowledge me. Maybe you don't want solo diners? Maybe you don't like women with prams? Maybe, you're all just not very good at your job? All these seem unlikely, but there is definitely something going wrong. Something so bad that you can manage to ignore a potential customer for nearly half an hour (until I just got up and left) on one occasion. So bad, that you can ignore the same customer, multiple times! Something so bad that I'll bother to go home and leave you a negative review online. I've tried to give you multiple chances to redeem yourselves, but it KEEPS ON HAPPENING! I'll get my daily takeaway coffee at the next-nearest cafe (there's a $1000 pa lost sales alone!) - all the staff at Loosie Grinds are always attentive, friendly and polite.
