Bidra med feedbackGreat little hole in the wall hidden in a tiny Melbourne Alley. The thing to eat here is the Mackerel dumplings.
In search of a temporary dumpling fave as Oriental Teahouse is renovating I decided to give this dumpling venue a go! Love the quaint laneway dining, the
Very very very cute little place in degraves streetThey have delicious dumplings and a big variety of beers, ciders and juices.
After experiencing the extremely popular Shandong Mama at the China town, we just tumbled into this for lunch 1pm on Sunday - right opposite the street intersection. Very quiet part of town. We appreciate the thin dumpling skin. The steamed fish dumpling was nice, but quite pricey at $16.80 for 10 pieces! The pan friend prawn and black fungus dumpling was much smaller serve of the same price. The beef and noodle soup was tasty but comes with a $11 price tag for a bowl of soup with noodles and some beef.Being a more relaxing place with less visitors, we get to rewind after a nice day's walk. The young staff are students from Shandong, North of China as well.Good experience, but better priced restaurants all along the street. I give the taste 4/5, price 2.5/5. This is a Vietnamese prescient after all!Hope it helps
Meeting up with friends, we savoured the pan fried dumplings and bean paste noodles with our green tea. It's good value for money, and service is quick.
