Sparrow's Philly Cheesesteaks

I'm always on the lookout for American style food, and Sparrow's came up in my Facebook feed and since I knew we were coming down to Melbourne to watch some footy I said why not try some Philly Cheesesteaks. Well, no one was disappointed. I had the Bourbon Bacon and it was DELICIOUS! Hubby had the Regular, that too was very tasty. The bread is nice and soft and the steak itself is so tender along with that yummy cheese, how could you not like it? The fries were also delicious, nice and crispy. Although we live in Brisbane, this is a place we will go back to next time we visit Melbourne to try something else from the menu.

Found this on TripAdvisor and was worth the visit, I was a bit confused at first because the food part is at the back of a bar and the bar itself seemed lively and fun, food was tasty and everything was quite fair priced.I would definitely return if I was back in the area

Came here on a Friday night. The bar was busy but kitchen area wasn't. The food took way longer than expected to arrive. But! it was delicious. I got the Mushroom Cheesesteak and plenty of chips. Only thing that would make it truly authentic would be more grease but that's not something to complain about!

Yummy cheesesteaks for decent price! Closest thing to a Philly cheesesteak I've found outside Philly! The meat, gooey cheese, and soft bread are all too good to be true. Matched w the phenomenal beer selection, this is the perfect place to indulge in comfort foods with friends. Especially on Mondays when they have specials!

Excellent veggie choices with quick service. Loved the fries and $5 beer up stairs. Friendly service and they even have vegan meals.
