Taco Bill Russell Street - Melbourne

I stopped by last week with some friends for a quick bite to eat. The upstairs restaurant is cozy and welcoming. The lunch specials menu had a variety of options to accommodate both meat eaters and vegans. The chicken soft tacos were recommended by our waitress and did not disappoint. My vegan friends enjoyed the fresh and hearty burrito bowls. We also indulged in a shared frozen margarita bowl, which was the perfect refreshing treat on a hot day. I will definitely be returning soon.

Don't be deterred by the decor of this restaurant. It serves the best Mexican food I have ever had at a very reasonable price. The service is great, with a friendly waitress who made our experience even better. The chili con carne nachos were amazing.

The food was generally quite good. The restaurant has an authentic Mexican vibe. We started with street style and fish tacos, which were both tasty. The fish taco was particularly enjoyable. We also had a sizzling plate of fajitas, which was delicious. However, we were disappointed that the salsa and sour cream did not come with the dish and had to be ordered separately.

Well located in the CBD, the place is nice and warm, the ambiance is very  mexican columbian.indoors seating only. so if you wish to ask for some food, suggest that you be clear weather you want spicy, hot or whatever, i asked for spicy and it was like a volcano bursting my mouth, but it was good, its what i asked for.the food is fresh, very Mexican, Tacos and burritos were yummy and delicious. a 10/10 on food but still i would rate a 4 in terms of overall outlook , feel, food and staff overview.staff is friendly and you get your space to eat and enjoy the food and wine, or me always a beer man.budget the same for 50$ for 2 for a satisfactory meal.don't ask for extra beans if you have called for the burrito. you will get rice and beans....definately a recommended place, a must go and surely if i am around i wouldn't hesitate to go back again.

Since I arrive in Melbourne I 've been looking for a good Mexican restaurant. I can say I finally found it. Some other places like Mamasita charge too much for the tiniest plate and basically no Mexican flavour at all. Taco Bill provides a true Mexican ambience, and the food is absolutely extraordinary. We ordered La Combinacion and a Seafood quesadilla, the latter being one of the best quesadillas I 've ever had. The service is fast and the flavour is great!. For the same price you pay in other 'high rated ' Mexican restaurants I believe this one wins the battle. $51 for two people with a couple of beers. It is also important to note that the food is not very spicy and the restaurant is not very big. Also, at the end of the dinner there was only one guy servicing, making the service a little bit slower.
