Memphis has some really nice, eclectic, small restaurants and this is one of them. Parking is kind of a hassle, but the food is good, not expensive, and filling. Definitely a place to go for something a little different, but not so different that those of us picky eaters won't find something good to eat.

Hands down the best arepa place in the city. As a very picky meat eater, I must note: (1) excellent pork. Cooked on the premises, it is better than found at many bbq joints around here. (2) Their chicken dishes are superb. I have a strong aversion to/pet peeve about mixed thigh breast meat in food. Sabor Caribe sticks with chicken breast only. (3) Optional sauces are SO good I just don’t know why they don’t bottle and sell them on the side, a la Chick fil-A.

Yes! I finally found a good jibarito in Memphis. Fresh authentic Venezuelan food. Friendly service. Small quiet atmosphere. This is not fastfood and it's not cheap Mexican. So don't go in thinking you will get a $5.99 speedy gonzalez lunch special. The jibarito is my favorite. Warm fresh and full of flavors. The cheese sticks are good. They are definitely not the norm. The burgers are so good. Pros: Fresh food, friendly service, clean calm atmosphere Cons: price is a little high but fair, small seating area so they fill up fast
