The Griffin - Mendip

I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of vegetarian and vegan options at this restaurant. There was so much to choose from! The service was excellent, and the bar staff were very friendly, creating a great atmosphere. The only downside was that it was a bit expensive for the portion sizes, but the food was cooked very nicely.

I had an incredible dining experience at this restaurant. The beer selection was impressive and the Korean chicken burger was the best I've ever had. My holiday isn't finished yet, and I plan on coming back.

This restaurant is definitely worth seeking out. They offer an excellent selection of beer and apple wines, and their menu is very popular. If you are a fan of special burgers or chicken wings, this is the place for you. Although we didn't try them ourselves, they looked delicious. The clean plates and positive comments from nearby diners suggested that the food was top-notch. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming.

What a little gem is this? recommended by a driver/adventure and not disappointed. the Christmas special burger was so juicy and delicious, but the pbk was a real tasty bite for the taste buds! this is a small local pub, but felt very welcome, ordering by the app was easy and the service was great. good selection of wings, I would recommend the hoisin, a lot taste and cooked to perfection. will come back in any case!

Found this place randomly after I was craving a decent burger. Being in somerset you don't often get a chef who's willing to be creative with flavours. But here omg this chef knows what there doing! Everything is so perfectly balanced. We are massive chicken...wing fans and these are some of the best around. We really struggle to find a good wing outside of London but we have now finally found one. The burgers are of the scale on taste. We have now claimed this as our new date night location and will be making our way through the menu and then starting again. Will be seeing the staff at the griffin very soon.
