Bidra med feedbackWe have a road trip here as part of our summer holiday after best dinner meal on Thursday afternoon. We waited a bit for placement, especially because no hostess arrived, but there were many tables in the back room. The historic Diner car is pretty cool and the backroom addition has also a nostalgic feeling. The waitress had no problem with the numerous substitutions of my adult daughter to one of her combos and for the most part it came out as she wanted. (There was a charge of $1 for freezing French toast for pancakes, but that was good. I had the veggie omelet that was really well filled. It had a lot of broccoli and I think onions and peppers in it, plus the Swiss cheese was delicious and plentiful. I usually do not eat potatoes, but try a bite of the domestic pommes to see how they are. Yours were eh. Only seasoned large pieces of potatoes. Overall, it is a cool place with good food. My only complaint would be that waiting for the food seemed to be okay long considering that they were not packed or something.
Breakfast was tasty. We had the kitchen Sink and vegetable omelette. Along with Iced Coffee’s “free refills” The waitress did an amazing job and was very attentive to our needs. Price was comparable to any other breakfast establishment. Environment was clean, but the Fans above our heads were wicked dirty and the idea of eating over it and thinking about the dust falling on our food was most unpleasant. Yes, I would come here again.
Once you get past the fact that this diner is located in the middle of a car dealership parking lot and that you might experience a bit of a wait during lunch, this place is fantastic and well worth the short drive. It's a charming diner with incredibly delicious food. The kids absolutely loved the huge pancakes. The breakfast burrito was generously filled and beautifully presented, while the Irish breakfast corned beef hash was outstanding, topped with perfectly soft runny eggs. The home fries were super crispy and delightful. The prices were very reasonable, and the staff was extremely friendly. If I had to be picky, the coffee could have been refilled a bit quicker, but that's not enough to warrant a lower rating.
The atmosphere is lively and the staff is cheerful. The beer selection is somewhat limited. However, the food prices are reasonable and moderate. You'll also notice plenty of young families dining here.
This restaurant is consistently a fantastic place to dine. The food is delicious, and the portion sizes are generous, though it can be a bit pricey. Overall, I still highly recommend it. I often visit on weekends with my daughter, and she absolutely loves it. As someone who follows a keto diet, I appreciate their massive omelettes! I always order the kitchen sink omelette, and to give you an idea of its size, I even used my Note 8 phone case for comparison.
