La Bastide De Marie - Ménerbes

The prettiest place we visited in the south of France. The setting and food was perfect. Definitely go for a walk around the grounds after your meal!

La Bastide de Marie used to be my ultimate favourite hotel. Unfortunately the restaurant service is so terrible and we even gave it a second try, as we love the ambience and gorgeous property so much. But with the same result, even without telling our friends our previous experience they mentioned the serice within the first 5 min of arriving. Secondly you can not only order a minimum of 3 courses, which is too much for lunch outside in 36 degrees. Fine dinning, beautiful, but the lunch menu really should be the dinner menu and then for lunch, have some choices, a nice salad, sharing dishes. I truly hope the management will take this into consideration, as we have been coming for many years and would so love to come back.

A wonderful place in the middle of the vineyards I had the chance to celebrate a wedding. The team folds in 4 to ensure that everything goes best, the exteriors are very beautiful and well maintained. At sunset, the light magnifies the place. I highly recommend!

An exceptional place, made even more beautiful thanks to the benevolence of Mireille. Too bad it's so difficult to recruit staff I'm going to pass for a neuneu on the part of the server totally denotes with the family and serene atmosphere we've known a few years ago.

What? An absolutely sublime setting, a perfect service, a fresh and delicate house rosé and of course exquisite dishes. Reservation required.
