Shiok! A Taste Of Singapore

For dinner, we ordered: - Singapore Chicken Rice (also known as Hainan Chicken Rice) - Duck Garlic Noodles - Roti Prata - Chicken Satay The chicken rice was decent but not particularly memorable. The chicken was well-cooked, and the rice was nice, but the sauce and overall flavor deserved a 4/5 rating. On the other hand, the duck garlic noodles were absolutely delicious! I had stopped ordering garlic noodles at other restaurants for a while because they often become unattractive once they cool down. However, these noodles remained perfectly chewy and bouncy, without sticking together, even after trying them again later. I would rate them a 5/5! The roti prata was soft, crispy, and flavorful, especially when paired with the delicious curry sauce. I enjoyed tearing the roti into small pieces, as it can be too hot to handle at first. Another 5/5 for that! The chicken satay was fantastic on its own. The accompanying sauce was fine, but I didn’t feel it enhanced the chicken much, so I’d give it a 4.5/5. I can't wait to return! Next time, I want to try the Beef Rendang and definitely order more garlic noodles!

As a Singaporean who hadn't been back home for two years, this meal was truly special for me. It was a delight to share my favorite home-cooked dishes with my colleagues! I do wish the service had been a bit more attentive and that our table hadn’t been left uncleaned for so long. However, I’m giving it 5 stars because the food was fantastic, and overall, the experience was outstanding!

The restaurant is quite nice, and the owners are very friendly. While the flavors weren’t overwhelmingly impressive, every dish was enjoyable. We were dining with some vegetarians, so we ordered accordingly, but I imagine the meat dishes could bring a bit more excitement.

Food is good, they have plenty of options for the vegetarians too. Staff is pleasant and super courteous, the only thing they can do is remodel the ambience but that's fine. Location and the place is perfect to dine in with your families and friends.
