Good food. Adequate choice if not extensive. Tasty. Pleasant dining room. Popular -- need to book.We had the duck as the man and it was good. The range of flans and tarts for dessert was impressive, although by then we were full and chose a lighter dessert. There were some luscious strawberries on offer. Quite the best I've tasted in years.

We walked pass several times before walking in for a drink in the Courtyard. The dinner was special. A variety locally inspired dishes. The building looks ordinary from the road--old signs. The walls are partly the old gate. Inside is an interesting hotel with a great restaurant. We returns on the weekend for a more elaborate meal - again it was great French food. Try the fish - and save space for the selection of desserts. I enjoyed the strawberries.

We stayed at the Auberge de la tour at the end of June. The couple who are running the hotel couldn't have been more welcoming. Our room was a very good size, clean and the views onto the ancient castle ruin couldn't have been better.Evening meal was good but maybe a bit limited but all local produce. Wouldn't hesitate to return for a long weekend. Don't miss out on going for a walk to see the old medieval buildings surrounding the Logis and the canal.Easy access to motorway, 20 min drive, if you are only stopping over.
