Quaker Steak Lube - Mentor

I waited two hours for wings at this restaurant. Initially, I was told it would take 45 minutes. After waiting, they couldn’t find my order and instructed me to remain there. I ended up waiting another hour, during which they claimed they hadn’t heard there was an issue. After waiting a full hour with no resolution, they still refused to offer any discount. I wouldn't have waited so long if I hadn't taken orders for seven other colleagues at work who were also wondering where their food was.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The service was exceptional and they even offered handmade lemonade, which was a delightful surprise during a snowstorm. The atmosphere was excellent, and the staff was always friendly. The steak and shrimp were cooked to perfection, and the chicken was wonderfully tender and juicy. Highly recommend!

The ribs were fantastic—tender and juicy, with the meat falling right off the bone. The basic BBQ sauce was quite tasty as well. The portion size was decent, but it was over-seasoned with salt. The salad was a bit lackluster, and the sides of coleslaw and mashed potatoes were small and quite bland. I would definitely recommend just getting the ribs and skipping the rest. While the tiny desserts were sweet, the $30 price tag seemed excessive for what we received.

I haven't been to this place for a few years. This is because I moved out of this area and had nothing to do with the restaurant itself. Both food and service for the good. I'm going past Tuesday and on Tuesday they have excellent food specialties. They have special steak, bone-in wings and boneless wings that a leg for only $10 just to name a few. You also have an alcohol happy hour. If you haven't been to a Quaker Steak Lube in a while, you might be surprised.

It's just okay. Some items a little on the pricey side. Almost $10.00 for an order of Onion Rings? Seriously? I don't like to be taken advantage of like that. Food was good, not exceptional, wait staff was attentive and courteous. Seating was plentiful and no waiting.
