Stop Deli - Meriden

This is the best authentic Mexican food I've experienced in Connecticut! The owners are incredibly kind, and the atmosphere is very welcoming. I'm really glad I visited, and I will definitely be returning!

This place is amazing! As a Mexican from LA, I can confidently say that La Poblanita is incredibly authentic. From their ingredients to the food they serve, it truly feels like home. Finding quality Mexican food in Connecticut can be challenging, but I think I’ve found my new go-to spot. This cozy restaurant deserves more recognition and appreciation. The staff are incredibly friendly, and they embody the warm hospitality that Mexico is known for. We tried the tacos (asada and al pastor), sopes (chorizo and al pastor), and horchata, and each dish was delicious. I can't wait to return and explore more of the menu! The best part is that the prices are reasonable for such fantastic food. Plus, their chiles actually have a good kick! If you want tasty food and to support a local business, definitely check this place out.
