Lucy Ethiopian - Meridian Station

This is my favorite restaurant in Aurora/Denver. Amazing, healthy food, and really friendly people.

I was recommended Lucy's, and they certainly delivered on that recommendation. The Yebeg Alicha Wat was absolutely delicious. The server was incredibly helpful in ensuring I didn't order anything too spicy. It was just right.

I had never visited this restaurant before, and it was my first experience with Ethiopian cuisine. I ordered the Lamb (Yebeg) Key Wot, which turned out to be a delicious and flavorful lamb curry. They serve it with a side of Injera, a soft, crepe-like bread that resembles Indian Dosa, which you use to enjoy the curry. You tear the Injera into small pieces with your hands, dip them into the curry, and eat. As I write this, my stomach is growling— the food was absolutely amazing!
