The raspberry tart might have been the best I’ve ever had. Chocolate croissant was good, amazing texture but the chocolate was all one one side of it.

My family and I have gone here for years and it is just fantastic. The food and service is lovely, and it’s by far my favorite gem in Denver. If you haven’t tried their cinnamon bun you haven’t lived. But the breakfast sandwich is also incredible. Basically just be prepared to want to go daily if you try it out.

They were out of sticky buns so I opted for coffee cake. Save your money dont buy this. Whoever makes this coffee cake never had any of Grandma's real coffee cake. this is just some cheap cake with white powder sugar, blueberries, and a few walnuts. way over priced sugar, no flavor. not sure if i will go back for sticky bun or not. parking is a nightmare.

First, the food here is great which is why I have 3 stars. However, the service could improve. I placed an online order Tues for a Thurs pickup. I got an email Wed am saying “your order is ready for pick up.” I figured they must have gotten it ready early, so I popped by. But guess what, it wasn’t ready. The reason for this review is the person there didn’t bother to apologize for the their system sending a false email making me waste a trip. Instead saying “well you put in your order for Thurs” which I was not disputing. However, an apology for wasting a trip there instead of implying I was at fault would have gone a long way. While their baked goods are of high quality, there are other bakeries in Denver with just as high quality and great service. Therefore, Woodenspoon has lost my business going forward.

Randy Moyer got me a carrot cake from here for my birfday! It was NEXT LEVEL, easily the best carrot cake in Denver!! The cream cheese frosting was perfect and the pecan coating was a special touch. The staff enjoyed it immensely and we can't wait for another CAKE. Thanks Jason!!
