Bidra med feedbackStopped by here for a late dinner on a recommendation. We were the only diners, so parking was plentiful. The ambiance and decorations made me home sick as it reminded me of the Mexican restaurants in Old Town of San Diego, CA. This was the only tip off I needed to know that the food was going to be legit. The service was quick and friendly! There's complimentary tortilla chips with frijoles and salsa. We ordered a burrito (forgot the name) and carne asada nachos both of which were from their specials menu. Both dishes tasted delicious! I especially liked the carne asada as it was actually well seasoned, wasn't dry, and had a nice smoker flavor. The portions are huge likely enough for two people to share. There was also a complimentary dessert of two pieces of sopapillas (deep fried flour, syrup, and whip cream), so that was a pleasant surprise! Definitely recommend this if you're in the area!
Best carne asada in the valley! Charred to perfection every time, moist and addictive. The speedy platter is so wonderful but beware, it's a lot of food! I love the bacon wrapped prawns and homemade salsa. The service is always great and friendly. You must eat here!!
Good American version of Mexican food. Portions are way too big. Could not finish but everything we ate tasted great. Fantastic service. Noise level is pretty high as there were lots of families with small children.
The service is great and the owner is the BEST! The chicken taquitos are so dang good!!
So my search for great Chicken Mole continues, but in the meantime... I have a place to take care of my cravings! Most places in the area put too much sugar Onions in it... really folks! My only criticism here is they need to thicken the mole sauce a bit more! Seasoning is spot on! I also think $3.75 for Iced Tea is crazy! Service was friendly good. Thanks for a nice meal!
