Taste Of Chicago - Meridian

I just arrived at Boise Airport with a friend from Europe, and when I asked him what he wanted to eat, he said he wanted an American hot dog. We searched online and decided to come here. It was a great choice! The hot dogs are inexpensive, and they come with delicious fries. Although it was cold outside and there wasn't anywhere to sit, we enjoyed our meal in our rental car. It was fantastic!

The Taste of Chicago truly captures the essence of the city. The hot dogs are simply outstanding. The owner relocated here from Chicago, where he ran a hot dog trailer near the baseball stadium. In the Schatztal, you won't find a more authentic or better-tasting hot dog. You won't be disappointed!!! JDM

I was completely unaware of this place until I stumbled upon it while driving. I just had to stop, and I’m so glad I did! The food, especially the hot dog, was absolutely delicious, and the fries were super fresh—just like you’d expect from a classic Chicago hot dog stand. Next time, I’ll definitely try the Italian beef. Sure, it's not the healthiest option, but it’s a true Chicago dog! They use Vienna beef. If you’re in the area and have a craving for hot dogs, this spot is a must-visit. If you think you know hot dogs but haven’t tried this place, it’s time to expand your horizons!

Absolutely the best Chicago dogs outside Chicago. Authentic food, fantastic service and a welcoming atmosphere. I make a weekly trip here and get food for many of my friends and employees.

SO AMAZINGLY GOOD!!!! I haven't had a decent hotdog in years. This hotdog was everything and dont get me started on the fries! Cant wait to go back and try everything else they make.
