Bidra med feedbackIt was very good and the banana was big! I appreciate that it includes all your toppings and sauces. I got crushed almond, waffle cone, and salted caramel. Definitely recommend!
If you got a special spot in your belly for sweet stuff, do it totally worth it you’re looking at about six bucks for each thing, but so worth it! And come on how many places can you honestly go to and get a banana dipped in chocolate like for real! ???
If you've ever seen Arrested Development, then you know the significance of a chocolate covered banana. Balboa's is the perfect place to scratch that itch, while also offering a variety of other fun treats (hello decadent cookies). Not only is the place cute, but the chocolate dips have a quality taste to them. There's nothing worse than grainy, blah chocolate, and with all the toppings to choose, you're bound to find a combo you'll like. There is a long bench inside but no table, just a head's up.Decently priced and good service, if you're looking for a Balboa Island experience out in the desert, Balboa's is worth a trip!
Super tasty and fun place to check out, especially for date night. But make sure you both get something different so you can share! My wife got the dipped chocolate bar with some nuts and raspberry sauce, I got the cheesecake with coconut and salted caramel sauce. chef's kiss.
This place was great! I got the frozen cheesecake, my wife got the frozen banana. I got mine dipped in the dark chocolate (you can choose between dark and semisweet), smothered in Oreo crumbs, and drizzled in Nutella. AMAZING! The cheesecake is supposedly limited time, but the young lady advised, it's so popular, they are thinking about making it a regular. My wife had hers dipped in the dark chocolate and covered in peanuts. It was delicious! Our son had the vanilla ice cream dipped in semisweet, covered in sprinkled, with raspberry drizzle. Amateur. This place is great and should be on everyone's list of dessert spots to hit.
