Makitto Sushi - Mesa

Wow!! The sushi was fantastic and the server was spot on. We went for a friends birthday dinner and did the chef’s special as well as lots of rolls. Every single item was delicious. They don’t serve alcohol right now as they are waiting for their liquor license but the food was so fantastic I can’t wait to come back.Food: 5/5

Recently open (1 week again... still finalizing liquor license re-approval that caused them to close a couple months ago. So, no Kirin or Sake yet (soon... ! I only did Sushi (Yellowtail, Albacore, Salmon Eel , all of it was excellent and good-sized portions! Great sushi place to go to before/after a movie at Cinemark in the Mesa Riverview!! Glad to see it's open again!!!

Great find! Amazing sushi master. Engaging. Unique. I let him make anything and don’t ask by name or order off the menu. The scallop from northern Japan is awesome!!

I was searching where the family could get a bite to eat that was within walking distance from the comedy club. After looking at the online menu I reserved a table you just never know, especially since it was on Friday night of SuperBowl weekend. The reservation was online super easy. The restaurant was very clean and is set up with tables of 4 but they were easily able to accommodate our party of 6. The food arrived quickly, the servers were pleasant and the food was excellent. Everything is thumbs up.
