Fuel City Mesquite

Stopped by this morning 4/26/22 for breakfast. I had the chorizo breakfast burrito loaded and it was delicious. Food came out fresh and quick. Salsa paired well with it.

The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly and attentive. The only downside was the limited time for truck parking. We were hoping for an overnight spot for my father-in-law to park his truck, but unfortunately, the city of Mesquite only allows truck stops for a maximum of 6 hours. Too bad for them. However, Fuel City was great. I give it five stars.

Not much parking space, but before they turn on to fuel isle just hold about 1/4 mile on the left side another truck stop with approx. 20 more spots...but fuel city has good food and best fountain drink machine of koks with 100 choices. I like it because there is zero sugar as well as hot food choices better than normal truck stops?????

Great selection of snacks and beverages. The tacos are overrated. I have had better. I have tried the fuel city tacos twice now and I have not been impressed either time. The first time was a few years ago. There are taco trucks and lesser known places with way better street tacos. I also don't like that they only accept cash for the tacos. But at least the service was pretty quick. Bathroom was very clean.

First time visiting this location and I'll never stop again for food. They were rude and on their phones. It doesn't take 15 mins for 2 M cups of corn. Then the girl who made it, sat it to the side in my face, then went and got on her phone. The guy who was over the (TACO) side of the register who moved me to the (CORN) side while there were no customers, had the nerve to finish the deal. Yall need to do better. That's why Dallas is better.
