Austins Seafood Steakhouse - Metairie

One of the best if not the best in the New Orleans area. The food is world class, the atmosphere is classic and the impeccable service is the icing on the cake. They treat you like family and not the way you want to go. Make sure you request Eric Weinmunson as a waiter. He's the best in business. He treated us like a royal treatment.

My husband took me here for my birthday. It was our first visit. The service was great! Everyone was very friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the filet and lobster with a side of a twice baked potato. The steak and lobster were cooked to perfection. It's a bit pricey, but in my opinion I think it's worth it, knowing how good the food is. We will definitely be visiting again.

Service was a little slow but our waiter was friendly.. Gumbo was good. Dirty rice and shrimp were okay. Salmon was delicious that my fiance had. Overall would give it another chance

I have been to Austin's twice now and each time was an excellent experience. The second time was for Valentine's Day, which was obviously busy. Regardless, the service was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. Now, the food......AWESOME!!! I got the fillet and stuffed lobster and my wife got the Barbecue Twin Fillet. Both were great. The crab cakes appetizer was the best I've ever had. I only wish the portion was bigger. And finally, the White and Dark Chocolate Mousse Cake was so good we should have gotten two!

My wife took me to Austin?s for my birthday. It was a very excellent, amazing, and exceptional experience! The food and service was exceptional! This place is a hidden gem in Metairie. My steak was cooked to perfection, one of the best loaded potatoes I ever ate. I believe I at the skin and all???????? Seriously it was just that good. We will definitely be back!!
