Cafe Du Monde - Metairie

When in Rome... The beignets are very good. We had our first ones about a week ago would definitely go back for more, especially if they decide to expand into North Idaho. The chicory coffee was great, I liked it better than Starbucks drip coffee. A must, especially for first time New Orleans visitors. Don't feel you HAVE to try the French Quarter location, they have locations within a reasonable drive of the airport.

Their coffee smell surrounds the mall! It's in the middle part of the Lakeside shopping mall, correct me if I'm wrong but yeah their coffe tasted good here, definitely will come back..I tried their hot Mocha ! I love it

Went there with my bf who lives in California, he was here visiting and we visited this Cafe du monde... I already paid for the beignets when I saw that they were using pre-fried beignets, not fresh beignets. Like they made them earlier in the day and put them under a heat lamp. Then pouring powder sugar on top when they're being served. If I'm a paying customer, I expect the food to be fresh made to order. They were cold, chewy, and somehow soggy. The mocha is basically Swiss miss hot chocolate wirh a shot of espresso. Do better. This location is horrid and won't ever return.

Visited on 3/19/2022. Terrible customer service. Coffee was cold. No sugar in dispenser. Prices through the roof paid $6 for cup of coffee.
