Mai Tai - Metairie

I've never dined in the restaurant, but I frequently order delivery from there. The food is consistently fantastic! I’ve never had a negative experience with this place. They always accommodate special requests, and the delivery is incredibly quick. The egg rolls and spring rolls are absolutely delicious, and my favorite dish is the sweet and sour chicken!

We absolutely love General Tsao chicken; it’s the best we’ve ever had. My son only eats it from this place—he’s tried other restaurants, but Mai Tai’s General Tsao chicken is the only one he enjoys.

If I could give them more than five stars, I would! I order food from here all the time. The service is fantastic, and they often add a little extra treat when you spend around $20. My mother and I absolutely love this place! We usually get the sweet and sour chicken, which is typically juicy for white meat. I often also order the beef or shrimp with broccoli, and their egg rolls are incredible—stuffed with shrimp and pork. They pair perfectly with duck sauce. I've never had a dish here that made me hesitate to come back. I highly recommend it!

I recently had for the first time in May Tai lunch and enjoyed my experience. Especially the food was very good. I had the Shrimp Pad Thai and tried the Red Curry Chicken and enjoyed both. The cashier who checked us was kind enough, but no merit of a prize. The restaurant was clean when I left.

I like the shrimp egg foo young. The do not put peas a d carrots it their food. Egg roll was well seasoned and had ground meat in it, lots of cabbage. This is take out place even though they have a few tables you wouldn't want to dine there. Rice is ok. Why yellow and not brown, I dont know. I guess they dont use soy sauce when they fry it. Not great food, just okay.
