I've dined at Biscuits and Gravy twice and haven't been disappointed. Each time, I've enjoyed the biscuit and gravy breakfast. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the restaurant is very clean. I highly recommend it.

I walked in just 10 seconds after an elderly couple who were seated at 12:30 PM. The host informed us that she had just seated the last couple of the day. However, the sign clearly states that they close at 1:00 PM. This left us quite confused, and my husband was really upset; he doesn't want to try eating there again. They might want to update the sign to reflect a closing time of 12:30 instead of 1:00. Just a suggestion!

This place is absolutely adorable! I'm not an expert in decoration, but it's clear they have a talented designer. The atmosphere is open, bright, and welcoming. I wish we had visited on a warmer day so we could have enjoyed sitting outside, but there will be other opportunities. I have to admit, the gravy didn't quite live up to our expectations based on the restaurant's name. It was rather bland and seemed to be made with cornstarch, which isn’t our favorite. We haven't found a restaurant yet that makes truly great sausage gravy—sometimes I just prefer not to make it at home, and we enjoy supporting local businesses. We didn’t get to sample the biscuits without the gravy since it was served on top, but we’ll definitely order them on the side next time, as they looked amazing in the little display warmer. Despite that, the combination of good service and a pleasant atmosphere will definitely bring us back. My omelet was delicious! I do wish they buttered their toast, but I can easily take care of that myself. Our daughter absolutely loved her Nutella Belgian waffle. It was perfectly crunchy in the right spots, soft where it needed to be, and had just the right amount of Nutella. Overall, I would highly recommend Biscuits and Gravy. They also have a second location in the square that offers cooking classes, which sounds like a lot of fun!
