China House Buffet - Metropolis

Most of food was not edible. What was good was too salty. I should have turned around when I went in but you never know until you eat the food. I sure hope I can make it home before it comes back up.

I ordered some food from their online menu. I picked it up and noticed they forgot something. So I told them and they charged me. Went home and looked at my receipt and they did charge me. Whom ever answered the phone argued with me that they did not charged me. I read off every charge. Then he finally admitted that they did charge me. He said next time I come back they would give me the item for free. That’s been two years ago. I’ve been so mad at the way he treated me I haven’t been back. Today I was wanting some Chinese food and did not feel like driving 45 minutes to the next Chinese place. So I decided to look at the reviews to see if they’ve changed or switched managers. The nastiness of the owners or whoever does the response to the reviews is still nasty. reminds me of how he spoke to me and I see things have not changed and the food really was not that good to begin with just mediocre. You should not be so nasty to the people who are paying your bills by buying your food. Still want Chinese food? I think I will drive to Anna to the Kings wok, their food is awesome. It is worth the drive and they are very friendly. The way you treat your customers is atrocious.per your response : I only leave reviews if something exceptional happens. Either they’re business is very, very good are very very awful. Guess which category your establishment is in. Like I said, you are very nasty. and by the way, went to King’s walk today and it was very very good as normal. I will be leaving a review because they are exceptionally awesome. And look at Kings wok reviews compared to yours that says it all.

This was a very unpleasant place to eat the building was hot and the food was cold. the waitress who may be responding was rude. We had a party of 8 and he wanted us to sit 6 to a table and 2 and a small booth with only one side. Because the 3 man that was with us was large in tall, the waitress did not want us to use another table he expected us to all sit at a small table, with no arm room to be comfortable. at the end he joined all the tickets together without asking us.

We spent 60$ for 4 ppl only for the rice and salad croutons to be stale and we went to the dessert bar and tapped the cantaloupe container and tons of nats crawled out from under the fruit and there was mold spots in the cake one piece of cake was hard as a rock u could beat it on the table and it wouldn’t break I would also like to mention out of the four ppl 3 of us got water and one of the classes tasted like cleaner and they said it was just bc of city water but my water was the only one that tasted like cleaner and the rest tasted fine
