Bidra med feedbackAlways a great date night with specials and menu staples they are known for. It’s a good idea to get reservations for any occasion and a quick call if you are downtown already can help your group plan. The best thing is it isn’t too nice to feel like you can’t go with the family. There’s even a child’s tasting plate! The screened in patio is beautiful when the weather is cooler.
The food is outstanding and I'll definitely be back to try more of their amazing dishes!
I'm usually not the type of person to give a food review. I have always been a very suspect eater. In this case I was pleasantly surprised how good each dish my wife and shared was. From the Chicago, but we're trying to figure out how soon we could get back. Thanks FH.
We went to Paducah to eat at Freight House. and the NQM) What a great experience! Katie at the bar couldn’t have been more helpful. The PB&J meatballs were delicious tender, juicy and as promised just a hint of sweet. Fried green tomato? Fun, yummy spin on a Southern classic! And the Smoked Parisian Gnocchi was superb. Perfect little pillows sautéed and married with succotash and a sauce as smooth as velvet!! Awesome. And Sara came over and chatted. SCORE!!! It’s a must if you visit Paducah. Susie, Nashville
We had dinner here while visiting Paducah and it was a great experience. The atmosphere was great and the interior was a nice combination of rustic and contemporary. Many original building elements remain. Our server was attentive and service was quick despite it being at capacity during our visit. Our waiter was also very informative when my wife asked about several craft cocktails and was happy to offer a few recommendations. The craft cocktail menu is extensive and offers both classic and unique options. We started with the PB J meatballs, and they were great. I would have never thought to combine peanuts with meatballs, but it worked really well. My wife had the pork tenderloin and it was exceptional. It was cooked perfectly and had a really nice flavor which was complex without being too busy. Even her Lima beans, which I normally don't enjoy, were really good. I had the braised pork shoulder and that was also packed with flavor. It came with bacon fat cornbread, black eyed peas, and greens, and every element worked together perfectly. I would definitely recommend reservations as it was very busy and I'm not sure you would get a table without one. Overall, a great experience. If we're ever back in the area we'd definitely eat here again.
