Great staff and food prices! The food is always hot and fresh. This place is special to me because it has everything a little down-home restaurant should. No bells or whistles. Just good food, great people and great prices!

So good! I don't know what else to say. I had the brisket, mac n cheese, and potato wedges. All were so so so good. I agree with another reviewer that different sauces would be nice but everything was so good you wouldn't even need sauce. Portion sizes were generous and process are more than fair. I was with someone with a food allergy and they marked on the ticket for them to change gloves and the waitress spoke to the kitchen staff as she put our order in. We are from another part of the state but if I'm even remotely close again I'll be back.

Let me tell you Jomax did not disappoint! I wish I had started a stopwatch from the time I placed my order until it was delivered hot and fresh to the table, WOW that was fast! And amazingly friendly service.If you find yourself in Metter, GA don’t miss this great little spot!

I have to say the best fried chicken around! And let me say the fried breaded mushrooms are amazing, fresh, and portions are well worth the trip in itself. The brisket was a tad dry but very flavorful and hearty. You must give this place a try you will not be disappointed.

Very good food and lots of options. The ribs and brisket was a little dry though. I've had it carryout before and it was delicious. Just an off day maybe? Highly recommend.
