Menya Ramen House - Metuchen

This place had some good vegetarian and vegan options. The food was awesome. I tried the spirit lifter (vegan) and it just had the right balance of flavors. Hands down will visit again to try other items on the menu. The staff was very polite and the service was very swift and good.

The food is amazing, I've been here a few times and the bowls are prefect! I really love the corn, onions, and scallion combination. This place differentiates the food with those toppings because no other place has it like that( I've been to 5 different ramen places) other places add extra stuff such as a rice cake or an egg, which I don't want in my bowl. The food here is flavorful but not salty at all, I had the spicy kaisen, I think my boyfriend tried the spicy miso.

The food was so good and highly recommended. I had the spicy miso ramen and fried squid. My husband and daughter had the fried chicken and veggie gyoza. The food came out hot and delicious. The staff and proprietor were so accommodating and friendly! We will be back to enjoy this place again.

Exceptional service! I had the Vegan Kimchi Miso ramen, Fried Karaage Kushi and Takoyaki. The vegan ramen was very tasty; the broth was surprisingly rich. Highly recommend. Limited complimentary parking in the rear. There's also a lot behind Menya's parking lot.

Wonderful experience! Little hole in the wall, but B I G on personality! The food was delicious! You could tell everything was fresh, and the portions were very generous. The plating and colors were so vibrant and enticing. The service was great; everyone was very friendly, and one or two of the chefs came out from the back periodically to check on patrons as well. I also appreciated how our server was very patient with us when we had some questions about some of the dishes. The overall experience was very warm, inviting, and friendly. We'll definitely be back for another casual date night!
