Bidra med feedbackWe had a brilliant and memorable dinner at Les Palmiers. The food was excellent, perfectly seasoned, using the freshest local produce, and presented beautifully. Bruno, the owner, served us and it was his patient translation of all the items to us in English, and careful...description of each course, how it was cooked and its sourcing that made us appreciate how special the meal was. We thought it was incredible value for the quality versus other good restaurants in the area, as we thought it was certainly a notch above all the meals we had. The fantastic service only just made it more so.
Interesting flavor combinations, cooked and perfectly served. attentive service correct, but also friendly. beautiful room. What is that? that was our second visit, we'll be back.
We thought that les palmiers was from our price class, but wandering by, we discovered that their lunch menu was very affordable, so booked for our last day in mèze and we were so glad we did. to offer a quiet, peaceful oasis on a very hot day, eating the restaurant was some of the best we ever tasted. aromen and textures were beautiful and well valued and we enjoyed every mouthful. the service was in harmony with the ambiente quiet and polite, and also very helpful, offering complete descriptions of the food. oh, and there were irritating extras that mause at both ends of our meal. If we ever return to mèze, we will definitely be worth a trip again, if they are in the region.
I have never been disappointed by eating in les palmiers! although this time, with it a special menu for Mother's Day, I am most impressed and can honestly say that your young and talented chef is most likely on a "star" of. michelin soon. each individual dish was perfection in originality and taste. starting with the foie gras, the quality of the fairy and the texture with the cutting into it, I said to my man before it was tasting that it was perfection! the chefs fantasies, mixes of products, aromas and textures are worth eating not only in this restaurant, but worthy of a i, unfortunately so impressed by every dish, forget to make photos of all. the three that I took were served by the lotte with a saffron butter sauce with mixed heaps, lima beans and austerity, which (foamed! cheese selection and dessert served a strawberry sabet with a Verbena mousse that with a black olive crumb (yes, they read the right)! this one of the most amazing of the long. the service is also perfect! the wonderful owners, marjolaine and bruno, make the visit sincere so pleasant. if they have not been in les palmiers, they will not be disappointed!
Recommended by French friends we had a lovely lunch on a mid week day. While there are a few 'rules ' as to what you can have on which menu which I found a bit odd (i.e. the whole table has to book from the same...menu which begs the question as to what they would have done if our party had sat on three individual tables for two! , the food was exquisite. Only real gripes are the plates were cold, so the food cooled quickly and the dining room was very 'echoey ', but that 's perhaps my problem as I 'm a bit deaf altogether a lovely lunchtime experience. Bruno and his staff are great, very attentive and passionate. This is a place that you would think you 'd only go to on a special occasion, but at €30 a head including wine it was very, very agreeable. Highly recommendable and we imagine in the summer sitting outside among the palms heaven......... We 'll be back.
