Matador Room - Miami Beach

The menu was limited, offering only a few selections, but the food was absolutely delicious! The dishes were simple yet packed with flavor. There was a great variety of drinks available as well. Considering that the restaurant is located in a hotel, we expected the prices to be higher, but they were quite reasonable! We would definitely return! Just a heads up, if you want to avoid paying for expensive parking, you might need to walk a few blocks.

The patatas bravas with rosemary were incredible! I also tried the short rib taco, and it definitely deserves 5 stars. However, the fish taco was a bit more average; the coleslaw made it much tangier than I anticipated.

The food was excellent, and the service was generally good. However, we did have an issue with the female General Manager, Wendy. She doesn't come across as someone suited for the hospitality industry; she appeared quite unhappy and was discourteous to both customers and staff. It was unprofessional of her to speak to the staff in a condescending manner in front of guests. Because of this, I rated the service three stars.

The food and service at the Matador Room were outstanding. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant. Matthew was extremely attentive and Dago was amazing as well! The Manager was warm and welcoming and available at all times. If I could give this restaurant 10 stars I would. Can’t wait to return!!

Highly recommend! The 7 course dinner is the way to go. We enjoyed each item and the portions are large (too much to eat all of it). Ask for a table by the pool. Our server was amazing!
